A PRESIDENTIAL MESSAGE
A PRESIDENTIAL THANK YOU:
Outgoing President:
Jennifer Hall
Incoming President:
Clint Edwards
At this year's Annual Meeting, Clint Edwards will be accepting the ceremonial gavel of the Chamber's presidency from Jennifer Hall of SEMCO Construction.
Jen Hall did an amazing job in 2016, which turned out to be a time of learning new methods of operation and improving the ROI for our members. Jen represented her organization and the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce very well, and kept the Chamber steered in the right direction for the benefit of the staff and the entire business community. She was tireless when asked to work on a project, and enthusiastically jumped in and/or offered suggestions that enabled the Chamber to continue be effective and grow. Jen, thanks for all that you did for us in 2016!
We want to thank Clint Edwards for his willingness to serve the community as the 76th President of the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce.
Clint's first official duty as Chamber President, is to oversee the Chamber's Annual Meeting. This year's theme, (chosen by Clint) is, "The Silver Screen." It promises to be one of the best ever - and it will probably once again be a sell out event!
One thing you may not know about Clint Edwards - and, as far as we know - he is one of the youngest Chamber Presidents since the Chamber began as the Board of Trade. That's very exciting. Also, Clint's generation is the best-placed generation for leadership, because of the Millennial’s strong understanding of today's world reality. It's a new ballgame out there, and we're fast learning the new rules; and looking forward to an exciting year!
