Once again, The Kiwanis Club of Bartow will be hosting a traditionally comedic event, "The Cryin' Towel," wherein football coaches from our local community schools will be telling tall tales in support of their rivals, each vying for your applause to be awarded the 2017 Cryin' Towel.

Tickets to the event are $50 each and can be purchased here at the Bartow Chamber, CenterState Bank, or from David White. All guests 21+ are welcome to attend the event. Included with admission to the event is a dinner catered by Texas Cattle Company, and free beer, cash bar, raffles, door prizes, and more!

The event is Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bartow Civic Center. Seating is limited, so get your tickets early.

Did you know there were more than 3300 homeless students in Polk County for the school year of 2016-2017?
Join us and help needy school students during STUFF THE BUS, now until August 18. The Chamber runs its campaign a little longer than other organizations to provide a second wave of supplies to schools after they have begun. This year, the Bartow Police Department is partnering up with us in this outreach to the community. Drop off your school supplies for homeless students today! Stuff The Bus is a Hearth Project outreach for Polk County Schools. Thanks to ENGAGE Chamber Young Professionals, Leadership Bartow XVII, DeeDee Yost Wright and the School Board for championing this project.
ENGAGE Young Professionals' Stuff The Bus is coming up! School supplies will be collected for Polk Schools' "Hearth Project," which supplies school supplies to homeless children. Be sure to drop supplies off to the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce from Now through August 18 and help homeless students have the supplies they need for school.
