Sexual harassment is topic
of Tiger Bay Club meeting
Drawing on a topic that has dominated national headlines for the past three-plus months, the Tiger Bay Club of Polk County will have as its January program a Tampa lawyer who specializes in labor and employment law.
Her focus will be on sexual harassment in the workplace.
The speaker will be Theresa M. Gallion, a partner in the Fisher Phillips Law Firm. Her clients over 30 years of practice have included “a wide variety of industries, with particular emphasis on colleges and universities, hospitality, telecommunications, and retail,” according to her resumé.
She also conducts training in topics such as equal employment, diversity, and management skills.
She will speak at the Tiger Bay Club meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the Bartow Civic Center.
Tiger Bay is a non-partisan political interest group that meets each month to hear speakers who hold positions of leadership in government, politics, and related fields.
