AUGUST FUN THURSDAY AT MIDFLORIDA CU

BAYOU BARBEQUE KITCHEN RIBBON-CUTTING

Join us at the Ribbon Cutting for new Chamber member Bayou Barbeque Kitchen on Friday, August 10 at 11:30am! Stick around after we cut the ribbon and purchase lunch.

Bayou Barbeque Kitchen was founded by Sherwin D Cameron & Shaun D Bowens Sr. They both had a passion for presenting unique signature Southern style dishes with a Cajun twist to the Polk County community. It is sure a meal that won't disappoint!

LEADERCAST WOMEN COMING UP!

Did you know that currently, women hold less than 4-percent of CEO positions worldwide?

Studies show this leaves organizations at a disadvantage, as businesses are more effective when both men & women have an equal leadership voice.

And while the core values & behaviors of great leaders are certainly not gender-specific, it’s a fact that women often face unique life decisions and organizational challenges.

We invite women and men both to join us at the Leadercast Women Central Florida host site to be inspired and transformed by the exceptional women sharing their insights, experience and perspectives on how to be the best leader you can be.

ENGAGE LUNCH & LEARN: GET READY FOR STUFF THE BUS

A huge thank you to member Rebecca Duvall with Chinault Family Chiropractic for her donation to Stuff the Bus! What an amazing gift to our students in need ❤️
Stuff the Bus is going on now until August 17. You can drop off your donations here at the Chamber or at the Bartow Church Service Center#bartowsupportsourstudents  #wearebartow

STUFF THE BUS, a project of the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce's ENGAGE Young Professionals, will begin July 9 and continue through August 17, after school has begun. Dee Dee said this is a good thing because supplies are needed all year long, and two weeks after school supplies have been hit hard. This is the 8th year the Chamber has been involved in collecting for this worthwhile project.
