Corbett Award Winners Announced During Diversity Luncheon The CC Corbett Diversity Award for an organization went to the Polk County Sheriffs Office for its practice of actively seeking ethnically-diverse employees. Sheriff Grady Judd accepted the plaque from Community Relations Committee chairman Gloria Washington. Ms. Washington also presented Sharon Casey of Community Southern Bank of Bartow the CC Corbett Diversity Award for her work in obtaining support for events that promote Diversity in and around Bartow. Business Crime Watch Luncheon Held The Bartow Police Department and the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce invited the business community to a free informative luncheon on October 6. Chief Hall said the business community seemed to be ready to help create a safer environment for Bartow. More than 100 business people and community members attended. | CYP Presents PR/Social Media Lunch and Learn The Bartow Chamber Young Professionals (CYP) will present a Lunch & Learn on Thursday, October 20, at the Florida Industrial and Phosphate Research Institute Community Room located at 1855 West Main Street in Bartow.
