About Us

Sam started life in Oregon, spent his childhood in Puerto Rico, his teens in Northern California, and most of his adult life in Nevada. He is married to a beautiful woman named Laura and has two adult children. He has traveled to many countries outside the United States but calls Reno Nevada his home.

Sam graduated from California State University Sacramento with degrees in Organizational Communication, Business, and Political Science. He worked for one of the world’s largest Internet retailers for 29 years. He has extensive experience in logistics, transportation, purchasing, and inventory control. He has overseen implementation of new warehouse management systems and the training of hundreds of people in new systems. Sam has experience in leading teams and engaging people to successfully implement new programs. Sam is on the Board of Directors of SNCMA, a non-profit organization in Reno. He produced and directed the longest running radio program on KRNG. Sam is also known in the area as a local artist. His paintings are shown at art shows in the greater Reno/Tahoe area. Sam operates several businesses in the Reno area. He is extremely excited about joining the ECTown USA team.
