Elections for the Chamber Board The Battle Mountain Chamber of Commerce would like to announce the opening for 2016 Board of Directors Application Process. The Battle Mountain Chamber of Commerce is devoted to create a pro-business atmosphere in our community. We are currently seeking applicants that would be interested in sitting on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce for 2016. As a board member, you will represent the Chamber members in Battle Mountain and Lander County, and demonstrate tremendous professional leadership within our community. Lander County Fair Lander County Fair Schedule of Events: Thursday 17th- 3-6 open for receiving of entries 6pm judging begins Carnival open 3pm (presented by the arts council) Friday 18th- 8-12 vendor setup 12pm Carnival and Fair open 5:30pm Miss Lander County Pageant (come down and cheer on the young ladies) Saturday 8am Buster Miller Junior Rodeo 9am Livestock Show and Exhibits open 3pm Carnival open (presented by the arts council) 5pm Junior Auction (we will auction a pig for GCG scholarship fund, and we are allowing non animal projects to be auctioned also. Come down and support the youth in BM.) 6pm Buyers Dinner (GCG will be treating the auction buyers to a tri-tip dinner) 7:30pm Concert and Arena Dance (Beer will be sold by BM Archery Club) Tickets are being sold at Bakker's Brew, Bianchni's Auto and Truck Parts, Midway Market, and North Nevada Feed and Supply.
