G & T's Heather Floyd and her Rodeo Commitee

A big round of applause to Heather and her ladies for putting on a great rodeo! The rodeo is a main stay in the Butterfield Days Celebration and is the anchor activity. Kudos go out to these ladies for all of the hard work that they put in to make this event happen. Events this large take months of preparation, with not much relaxation time, once the project starts. Much appreciation goes out to these ladies that make this event happen every year. Great job!!

The Butterfield Days Car Show was a success! There were 38 entries of some very beautiful cars and trucks. They came from Safford, Green Valley, Double Adobe, Sierra Vista, Hereford, St. David, and Benson. Congradulations to the Top Ten winners! They ranged from a 1932 coupe to a 2013 one of a kind Camero, and everything in between. Best of Show went to another '32 Ford Coupe, People's Choice went to the 2013 Camero, and Mitch's Picks Debi had to choose, as the show was dedicated to the memory of Mitch "Silver Toes" Mathews, and she had to choose the ones that she thought Mitch would pick. A '37 Chevy truck and a 67 Chevy Camero were the choices there.

The weather was nice, the cars were beautiful, quite a few compliments were heard, and it made a nice addition to the Butterfield Days weekend!

Thank you so much to the sponsors, vendors, and members who participated. It couldn't have happened with out your help! Looking forward to making it an even bigger more expanded event for next year! Get your antique tractors, 4x4 Toys, and motorcycles ready! You've got a year!
