Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies Ball
Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies is an annual ball sponsored by the Southern Nevada Old-Time Contra Dancers. The theme this year is Game of Bones. You can dress like they did in Jane Austen's time (early 1800s in England), dress like a zombie, or dress like you are going to the Red Wedding! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Refreshments will be served.

There will be:
  • English Country Dancing, including outrageously twisted Regency-era favorites.
  • Scottish Country Dancing, including "ghost reels" at a "killer" pace!
You need to know how to do English Country Dance, so if you don't know how to do that, consider taking a couple of lessons before you come to this dance. To get ready for this ball, English Country Dancing is taught at the Winchester Cultural Center at 3130 McLeod Drive in Las Vegas  (almost) every Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. You need to bring dance shoes not worn outside to change into.
