Soul Train on the Railway
The Soul Train is coming to the southern Nevada Railway Museum, with a special evening train ride for adults featuring music, snacks and soft drinks.  DJ Queen B will be onboard the train paying oldies from the 1960's-1990's.

Boarding will begin at 5:15 pm and the two-hour trip will depart the museum at 5:30.

Tickets are $25 now through Sept 19 and $30 if purchased Sept 30 or Oct 1.  Tickets are nonrefundable.

Zombie 5K Fun Run
You better run for your life when things go bump in the night!  The living dead and everything ghoulish invades Henderson for another fright. Try and survive the apocalypse by using your brains (pun intended) and disguises to outsmart hungry zombies along the 3.1-mile trail. Come and participate in this active, spooky, exciting, and family friendly event filled with lots of FUN!   Feel free to dress up as a zombie or in your favorite Halloween costume.
 
Participants can walk, jog, or run the 5k course; however, there will be mysterious surprises throughout the trail.  All fitness levels are welcome.   Suggest ages 5 and up.

This is not a timed race; self-timing is suggested.
 
Event Registration includes a T-Shirt. 
 
Participants are urged to come dressed in Zombie theme attire and makeup.

Last year, the Miles for Melanoma national walks raised nearly $2,000,000 for research, advocacy, and education! Join us this year and help make a difference!

Color Me Kind 5K Run
Help spread kindness with a splash of color with the return of our Color Me Kind 5K. We will have 5 color areas where you will be powdered with color as you run through, creating a kaleidoscope of color fun.  Each participant receives their own color packets, giving them a chance to sprinkle a little more kindness along the route.

AAUW Annual Home Tour
AAUW hosts the Annual Home Tour!  Join us as we celebrate our 41st Home Tour, we will walk through 5 homes- historic, modern, and just amazingly unique!  TIckets are $10 and can be purchased at the Boulder Dam Hotel Lobby 2 weeks prior and the day of.  The tour is a self guided tour- a map will be provided when you pruchase your tickets.  Tour starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm.  Proceeds go to benefit local scholarships and the AAUW General Fund.

Jingle Bell 5K Run
Come run a 5k with us for a jolly good time on the Pittman Wash Trail.

This is a great way to get into the holiday spirit while promoting a healthy lifestyle. This event is open to all ages, abilities, and speeds. Participants can walk, jog, or run the 5k course and make sure to bring your jingle bells so we can make the trail ring out with holiday cheer!

Rock, Roll, and Stroll Fun Run
The Senior Center of Boulder City will present its Rock, Roll & Stroll, an event to benefit its Meals on Wheels program.

This family-friendly event will feature people rocking in rocking chairs at Pratte Soccer Field, rolling in wheelchairs around the park's pond, and strolling through the park on a designated path.  For each activity, participants will have collected pledges to raise funds for the Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program.

The event also will feature entertainment and food available for purchase.  Those attending also are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets.

Those interested in participation can obtain pledge packets on the center's website, www.seniorcenterbouldercity.org.

Boulder City Fine Arts Festival
32nd ANNUAL BOULDER CITY FINE ARTS FESTIVAL
The Boulder City FIne Arts Festival is a  2 day outdoor Arts Show sponsored by Boulder City Art Guild, a 501c3 nonprofit, artist Co-op.  The admission is free both days.  There will be approximately 100+ exhibitors from the 7 states of the Lower Colorado Region. The festival includes a variety of delicious foods and free drawings both days.  A separate Scholarship Artworks Raffle will award works of art donated by the exhibitors and the sale of those tickets go directly to the scholarship fund.

Location:  Bicentennial Park on Colorado St (next to City Hall)

The Boulder City Fine Arts Festival funds scholarships for high school seniors planning to study fine arts in college. The Guild also supports art classes at  Boulder City Art Center
