BC Goes Passionately Pink

in offering it's time and services to provide our community with a way to stand up for the cure. Boulder City is the only city in Nevada that participates in the Susan G Komen Passionately Pink event. This year, we will see more business involvement, more pink shirts in the annual picture on City Hall steps, and more ribbons tied around the light poles of our main streets.

If you would like to purchase a shirt, they will be available after the 15th at the Chamber office. If you are willing to decorate your business's window in pink and would like to enter the decorating contest, please contact Val at 293-2302 or the Chamber at 293-2034 to let us know. Judges will be making their awards on Friday morning, October 23rd. Winners will be announced at the annual picture on City Hall steps at noon on the 23rd.

Several businesses are also offering great deals on BC's Pink Day. The Elks Lodge will be holding their Friday night dinner in Pink! Raffle tickets will be sold for Pink items and a donation will be made for breast cancer that evening. The Boulder Dam Brew Pub will be donating a $1 of every beer sold on the 23rd to our Pink Day cause and Curves of Boulder City has a special sign up fee for anyone joining the Curves Club on BC's Pink Day. More details will be coming regarding these sponsors and their offerings.

So plan ahead, decorate you office, wear pink on the 23rd and help us reach closer to the cure for breast cancer.
