New Article Dam Short Film Festival Looking for Sponsors The 2016 return of the Dam Short Film Festival is just a little over a month away. Beginning February 10 and running through the weekend until February 13, this amazing annual film event features 129 short films, filmmaker panels, filmmaker meet and greets, silent auctions and much more. New Article Boulder City Review Sets Regular Hours In an effort to better serve the needs of the readers and advertisers of the Boulder City Review, a representative from the advertising department has established regular hours at the newspaper's office at 508 Nevada Way, Ste 1. Starting this month, a representative will be available from noon to 4:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Those interested in advertising in the paper will be able to obtain information, get prices or place an ad. These hours are beginning January 14. New Article Lend A Hand to Host Caregiver Fair Caring for a sick or aging loved one can be an overwhelming experience - but help is available. Lend A Hand of Boulder City is hosting its first Caregiver Fair providing caregivers with valuable information on community resources and services in an effort to help with relief from their daily responsibilities and support for them to continue their important role. Through a generous grant from the MGM Resorts Foundation, Lend A Hand is expanding its respite care services and are looking for caregivers who need these services. This is a FREE event where you can visit with exhibitors to learn more about resources and services, enjoy refreshments with door prizes and giveaways. Join Lend A Hand's Caregiver Fair takes place on Saturday January 23, 2016 from noon - 2:00 p.m. at the Boulder City Library at 701 Adams Blvd. New Article Boulder City Relay for Life Kicks off 1/9 Join the Boulder City Relay for Life for their Kick-Off event on Saturday, January 9 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Boulder Dam Brewing Company. Bring your favorite chili, soup or stew recipe to compete for the title! $10 entry fee and a $.50 per taste ticket and the recipe with the most tickets WINS!
