City Council Candidate Happenings
As you may or may not know, the Chamber is neutral regarding any type of politics as we take the position of what is in the best interests of our members. That said, the Chamber feels strongly about ensuring that you, our members, are fully informed of the issues that pertain to you and your business. The Chamber does not endorse any candidates, rather we create a forum where the candidates can answer questions and meet the voters. In an effort to continue keeping the business community aware of the issues that directly impact them, we are hosting an evening with the candidates where you will have the opportunity to listen to the ideas and perspectives from the candidates for City Council. This will take place on March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Elaine K Smith Building. We hope you can join us! Also, we have posted the last few interviews with the candidates courtesy of Lettie Zimmerman on our website. Check them out in case you missed it.
