New Facebook Group for Members Only
If you have not requested access to our Members Only Facebook group, here is your invitation! We found that our members were not able to see all of the communications that were being sent on our Chamber Services page. This new Facebook group is private and monitored by the Monica, your Communications Director. Think of this as your private members-only club where you have direct communication with the Chamber as well as first access to information, critical chamber benefit messages and member to member deals. We do allow members to post, but please know that this group is not intended to be a place to showcase your business. Your business social media pages and the other Chamber pages are better vehicles for you to share what's happening with your business. Your access to this group is voluntary and not required, but know that this is available should you choose to join. If you'd like access, simply search Boulder City Chamber of Commerce **Members Only** and request to join. Make sure you check out the pinned post and drop a link to your Facebook business page. We want to make sure all of our small business members are getting some social media love!

The Chamber's Year in Review
Ever wonder what the Chamber has been up to? The answer is A LOT! Check out the Chamber's Annual Report for all the things that we do behind the scenes. This will give you a idea of what activities are happening to help promote tourism and economic development. We will be publishing one every year but if there are significant additions, we will update the document as needed. This way you can have the peace of mind knowing we are keeping you informed on all of the happenings at the Chamber.

New Newsletter Format
As you have noticed, we have revised the format of our Newsletter. It came to our attention by one of our members that the format was not mobile friendly and given most business owners use their electronic devices more than a desktop or laptop we though we would give it a whirl. Feel free and give us some feedback! With that, we have also changed how often the newsletter will come out. We will begin to send the Newsletter once a month and other communications will happen on our various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Instagram). We will post something different on all three so make sure you follow us on all of them!
If you have anything that you would like published in the monthly newsletter, please email it to monica@bouldercitychamber.com no later than the 20th of the month prior to your event. For example, if your event/sale is May 15, you will need to send in your information no later than April 20 to ensure it will be published. We cannot share everything, so please be sure you are tagging us in your post or share it on our page. You will still get the benefit of our followers seeing your posts.

Social Media Effectiveness
Social media is an amazing way to reach an audience. How saavy are you in the social media arena? Would you like to be more effective on your Facebook business page or your Instagram or Twitter feeds? We can help! The Chamber has resources to help you in your quest to leverage social media! Let us know and we would be happy to help you out! If you're interested in learning more about how social media can help your business email monica@bouldercitychamber.com and we will set up some time to visit!
