Emergency Aid will be opening its pantry the first Saturday of each month to
better serve those in the community who are unable to come during the week.

Halloween is just around the corner and there is no shortage of family friendly trick or treating fun in Boulder City! First up, Tricks or Treats, A Halloween Spooktacular is happening at the Nevada Railroad Museum Boulder City! Several showtimes available! You won't want to miss out!

October 28 brings the annual Trunk or Treat back to Veterans Park! $10 per car load which gets you all of the activities for the evening. Safe trick or treating for all the kids, costume contest, hay rides through a haunted forest, games and much more! The Chamber does reserve the park for this private event, so we do ask that you do not walk in. If you do not have a car, you will be asked to pay the $10 admission fee for your group. Your admission fee covers all of the activities while you are attending the event.

Just in case you missed it, Experienced Merchandise made Nevada's Top 10 Thrift Stores! Experienced Merchandise is a non-profit thrift store in the heart of downtown Boulder City. The store,operated mainly by volunteers, is open 6 days a week. All proceeds benefit the Christian Center Day Care in our town. Check out their website for more information! Speech and debate in Clark County benefits our high school students by giving them the opportunity to develop their critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking skills. In addition, this activity opens students to new avenues of thought while building self-confidence and strength of integrity. These opportunities can't exist  for our students  without volunteer judges in our community.
