Applefest Celebrates 30-Years!

The most colorful of Michigan’s four seasons is upon us and so is the 30th Annual Coldwater AppleFest, September 16-18, 2016.  Visitors will flock to downtown Coldwater for the weekend full of festivities.
 
The festival kicks off with the opening ceremony Friday, September 16 with Glei’s Apple Pie Eating Contest, Showcase Garden’s Apple Peeling Contest, BlueOx lip sync battle and much more.
 
The fun continues throughout the weekend with free live music including Dani Jamerson, the Hipposonics, and a Beatles Tribute Band.  There will be food trucks, the AppleFest Craft Show and Royal Chevy cornhole tournament…truly something for everyone.  Visitors can also enjoy horse and carriage rides, the St. Marks Quilt Show, and tours of St. Marks.  Fall craft beers & wine will be available during the festival under the Southern Michigan Bank & Trust Community Tent!

How mesmerizing is it to see artist in the moment of creating art?  Stop at the SW corner park where you'll see artists demonstrating their craft.  Stained glass, welding, belly dancing, martial arts, painting, sketching, carving and spinning wool!
