About Us
The tradition and history of the Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo preserves the heart and culture of our community, extended now to include many others as demographics change in The Valley of the Sun.
The Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo in Buckeye was named by readers of Phoenix New Times Magazine as "The Best Place to see A National Rodeo" - the best this sport has to offer, many enroute to the fantastic Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada in December.
This year, Salt River Rodeo Company, one of the rising stars in the business, ramping up the level of excitement beyond our expectations! We brought back some favorites and added some new surprises! Joining us this year were Brian Potter, Barrelman supreme, (Brianpotterrodeoclown.com) and returning are Bullfighter Joe Butler and Matt Lucking and Announcer Jesse Knutsen.
Brian was a huge hit with the spectators, as he danced with his car-driving mini horse!
Vendor booths with food and beverages were available, along with the "Bucking Bull! - and a large number of people had their photo taken on the back of the brawn of rodeo, including Sonic's Cherry Lime Mascot!
Always a crowd pleaser, this year's Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo was most assuredly a winner!
