About Us

We are a group of volunteer tutors who teach adults who want to improve their reading, writing, and English speaking skills. There is no charge for our services. Classes are one to one or small groups, in various locations within the cities of Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Tolleson, Litchfield Park and Tonapah. Times and days of tutoring are flexible to accomodate the students and tutors. We use the Laubach Method which is a proven method for teaching adult basic literacy or English as a second language. We are an affiliate of ProLiteracy Worldwide and a nonprofit organization.

If you would like to join this group of dedicated individuals to help adults who want to improve their way of life, please attend our two 6 hour Saturday workshop that continue throughout the 2007 calendar.

Teach someone to read a phone book, order from a menu, read to their kids, or read a lable on their medicine bottle. Tutor books and are free and there are no membership fees.
