“Wonderful, quiet and beautiful! (07/15/10)
his was our first family camping trip (in a tent) ...two adults, one child & one very large golden retriever. It was wonderful. It was quiet and clean just like they promised in the website. The campsite has spaces for tents but the RVs were practically everywhere. Still, our area was mainly tents and it was perfect, not to mention.....

Welcome to North Shore Campground
an RV park and campground offering a unique combination of the best Lake Almanor has to offer. We have over one mile of shoreline on Lake Almanor - yes, one mile! The park has been carefully designed to complement the stunning natural beauty of the setting. Most of our sites are lake front or lake view, and many are shaded by mature pine and fir trees.
We have many gorgeous lakefront sites!
We are the only resort on Lake Almanor that boasts both extensive lake frontage and close proximity to the town of Chester, located just two miles away. This makes us the perfect vacation choice for nature lovers as well as those who like access to an array of shopping and dining opportunities.
Clean, modern bathrooms, boat docks, boat rentals, a newly completed playground, a high speed Internet access point, and a WiFi hot spot are some of our amenities. We also have guest houses available for rent that offer all the modern conveniences. In addition, you may rent our Coleman popup trailer rental.
Come fish, boat, walk along the shoreline, hunt for crawdads, watch the many species of waterfowl, or just relax and watch the water. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a truly spectacular location, visit us at North Shore Campground.
We are located on the North Shore of Lake Almanor, two miles east of Chester, California, just off Highway 36.
