About Us
The Lake Almanor Community Foundation was founded in 2002. We sponsor several events that benefit the communities around the Lake Almanor Basin. Art Around the Lake is an interactive annual event, showcasing local artists, proceeds going to the art and music programs in local schools. A Few Brews and a Banjo is staged in Chester, and the proceeds go to the Chester schools music programs. We also sponsor the LACC Summer Bandshell program, which brings entertainment from all over California to perform on an open air stage, within sight of beautiful Lake Almanor.
