Mission Statement
THE S.P.I.C.E. PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATIONThe quote, “Childhood should be a journey, not a race” truly exemplifies one of the underlying philosophies of S.P.I.C.E. Students should be able to be immersed in a meaningful curriculum tailored, not only to their needs, but also to their desires. All kids are “at risk” if their needs are not met at the appropriate time and they all need an interactive language environment.
Program goals include developing a positive self-image, promoting individual creativity, encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth, encouraging resourcefulness, and developing self motivation and self discipline. Each student, parent, and teacher must accept responsibility for achieving these goals through a partnership in learning.
