pssst...Merchant's Night is coming....

Merchant's Night is the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 27th.  It is an evening of holiday fun for the whole family. Merchants stay open with holiday goodies, bonfires and sales, the ABC center lights their Christmas Tree and sponsors a visit from Santa and the community comes together for an informal light parade.

This year the Chamber of Commerce is also sponsoring the first ever LAKE ALMANOR CAROLING CHALLENGE!

Merchants will open their doors at 5 pm with goodies & sales. The Christmas Tree lighting at the ABC Center is at 5:30 and is followed by a visit from Santa and picture taking from 6 - 7 pm.

The parade?  Well, just light up your car, truck, motorcycle, bus, or logging truck and come on down.  The parade is sponsored by no one and organized by no one.  We just show up at the Builder's Supply parking lot about 7:00 pm and get going sometime after everyone arrives.

Parade "informal" rules:  Everyone needs to be inside the vehicle _ NO THROWING CANDY OUT THE WINDOWS, can't go any less than 10 miles per hour under the speed limit.
