The revenue will be put into a college fund for Harris along with a portion of the sponsorship revenue provided by Prudential Real Estate.

Harris will also have the opportunity to promote and sell her own artwork pieces at the Momboosa Vendor Show on Saturday, July 4th, and be pampered with two VIP Momboosa Music Festival tickets.

Second place was awarded to senior Josh Yates, 18, and third place to sophomore James Dillon, 16. Top three places receive four general admission tickets to the Momboosa Music Festival and award plaques honoring their accomplishments. Momboosa Music Festival would like to thank all participants who submitted artwork.

Momboosa Music Festival is a tropical themed music festival amidst a grassy meadow between the Lake Almanor shoreline and the quaint town of Chester, Calif., on Saturday, July 4, 2009. People gather from all over northern California and Nevada to enjoy the relaxing lake environment during the Fourth of July, increasing the area’s population from 4,500 to over 60,000. In honor of the year’s largest crowd, Liquid Blue Events along with the Chester/Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural lakeside music event. The festival will consist of musical performances from Garratt Wilkin and the Parrotheads, a Tribute to Jimmy Buffett, Mumbo Gumbo, Sol Jibe, Soul Majestic, and Keyser Soze. The festival will also host a pre-concert event Friday evening, vendor village, kids play village, plenty of food and libations, an art show, a wine walk, private group cabanas, and outdoor beach activities.
