Momboosa: Lake Almanor's First Music Festival

Thank you also to Steve St. Claire for his generous support of the festival on the meadow. Thank you also to our local supporters of the event, Jeff Roe Produce and Giggling Crow for adding to the Vendor Village, Sierra Cascade Aggregate & Asphalt and Dig It Construction for the volleyball courts, the boy scouts of Fleishman Camp for their volunteer service and the community members who came out to see the first music festival in Lake Almanor.

Reports from visitors to the concert included comments such as:

"Our kids haven't wanted to come to our cabin during the 4th since they got older.  We came this year because there was something fun for them to do. "

"Our Dad brought us camping to Butt Lake for the first time because we wanted to attend the festival. This place is really cool".

"We come up here every year with a big crowd, but don't come to town. We brought our whole party to Chester, did the wine walk, watched the parade, visited the craft fair and spent the rest of the day at the festival!"

"I've lived in Chester all my life and am so excited that an event such as Momboosa has become a reality."

"Who needs Lalapalooza when we have Momboosa!"
