Outdoor Writers Come to Lake Almanor

We are pleased to have this opportunity to showcase our area's beauty, history and recreational activities to the newspaper and magazine writers, photographers, radio and TV producers, freelancers, guidebook authors and web site developers of OWAC.

The writers will stay at numerous lodges/resorts and motels in the area. The Sunday general conference and marketplace will be held at the Foxwood Pavilion.  Throughout their their stay meals hosted at Plumas Pines, Dorado Inn and Carol’s Café.   

Monday the writers break into groups to take one of about 14 tours and activities offered by local guides and services within the Basin and in the Park.
