5 K Fun Run

Aletha and Erik O’Kelly along with a host of volunteers are hoping to welcome over 500 runners and walkers to join in the fun of the 30th Annual Chester Classic Fun Run. The course includes a mix of town and outback trails on a traffic free course. Register on-line on our Event Registration page.

Few Brews and a Banjo

A Few Brews & a Banjo will be serving up microbrew beer tasting from a variety of companies, while free music is offered from the bandshell by three bands, including Snake Oil, of Indian Valley, Stone & Straw with Chester locals Rob & Heidi Steen, and returning by popular demand, Dr. Tom's Alchemy featuring songwriter and musician,Tom Archie.

Next Stop Chester

Next Stop, Chester, Summer Youth, have cleaned up the community sign at the Post Office.   The Summer Youth program has been made possible by the Alliance for Workforce Development.  Pictured here are Sarah Elizabeth Tow, Seyonna Hedrick, Nick Griffith, Keith Weyburn, Chris Cucinotta and Next Stop, Chester supervisor, De De Petersen. The flowers for the sign were donated by Millwood Nursery.  Next Stop, Chester T-Shirts have been donated by McNeal Security Storage.
