CHESTER, Calif., December 23, 2015 –Lassen National Forest's Almanor Ranger District will offer its annual guided snowshoe and cross-country ski tours this winter for the general public and school groups. The first two events are scheduled for Friday, January 8 and Friday, January 22. Tour destinations, which will vary depending on current snow conditions, include Morgan Summit, Locherman Canyon, Almanor Recreation Trail, McGowan Cross-Country Ski Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail.
