Cliff Fahey and the Long Shot Lodge The Chester Progressive Maria Walkers Souter & TOB These teams have had a head start buyin' the beans, but it's not too late to dust off your recipe and enter! Registration is $25 per team. Register on-line here Join us to Taste the Heat! Tasting Kits and Ballot Cards will be available for the general public for $ 5.00 each. The Chilly Chilli Cook-Off is sponsored by the Chester-Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce. PANCAKE BREAKFAST TO BENEFIT RED CROSS The Almanor Red Cross will kick off the Chilly Chili Cook-Off Day with a pancake breakfast. Join us at this "tasty" event and help maintain the American Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle that serves our community. Breakfast is $8. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and orange juice. January 15, 8 - 11 AM at the Elk's Lodge on Main St, Chester. OPENED NEW YEARS & STILL SKATING! Chester's First Outdoor Skating Rink is a success thanks to the efforts of Wes Masten and the Lake Almanor Recreation and Parks District. Open from 4 - 7 pm every day at the Truman Collins Multi-Use Complex Admission: $5 Your skating ticket will also bring you bonus offers from participating area merchants and services.
