Cloe's Corner

As the Chamber's candidate for Mayor, Cloe the Golden Leaver, is stepping onto the political scene and into a hoopla of campaign activity. Cloe's response to the frenzy of public appearances she has coming up, her enthusiastic supporters, as well as her critics has been even and fair.

The philosophy that sustains her?    "It is best to let sleeping humans lie".

Initial word from her campaign office is Cloe is ready to embrace a Flea Party crusade across the United States for "better treats for pets" and less "leash time".

Under pressure to supply a forum for Cloe's fair and balanced views on major issues, campaign advisors have finally put on Facebook.  If you are a friend, relative, supporter or major pet supplier, Cloe asks you to check out her page.

The conference is our area's opportunity to share the outdoor activities and beauty of Lake Almanor and Lassen Volcanic National Park with the writers, photographers and radio hosts of OWAC. We will continue to thank our local participating organizations in this newsletter in the weeks to come.
