B.J. North Keynote Speaker at Annual Membership Breakfast

B.J. North, Executive Vice President, Manager Retail Banking, Plumas Bank will be the keynote speaker at the Chamber's Annual Membership Breakfast, Wednesday, May 13 at the Elk's Lodge at 7 am.  Members and guests are invited to take this opportunity to meet fellow chamber members and receive news about activities and chamber events.  Awards will be presented for Volunteer of the Year, Business of the Year and Best New Construction/Remodel.  Breakfast is $7.  RSVP: 258-2426

Visitors Center Docents Training

The Chester-Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce is now taking applications for volunteer docents for the Visitors Center this summer.  Call us about this exciting opportunity to learn about and share our area with the many visitors to the Lake Almanor Basin during the summer months.  Docent shifts can be arranged to meet most any schedule. 

ServSafe Food Handler's Examination

April 30th is the ServSafe food handler's examination at Carol's Cafe, Prattville, 7:30 am - 5 pm.  Fee $150.  Call Carol 259-4323.

Free Tire Disposal Day

Saturday May 2, there will be a FREE automobile tire and passenger truck tire disposal day at the Chester Transfer Station (intersection of Hwy 36 and A-13 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  For additional information contact Plumas Co. Dept. of Public Works at 283-6268.
