The cost to light up the skies is $13,650. Friends and members have raised $3,150 to date. We have $10,500 to go! Help our community Light up the Skies over Lake Almanor! Mail your check to the Chamber at P.O. Box 1198, or look for the Fireworks Donation cans about town. Event Calendar For Your Customers Event Calendars for the 2009 year are now available at the Chamber office. Put them at your front desk, cash register or waiting area. Let our visitors know that there are Things to Do in Lake Almanor! The Event Calendars are a product of the Lake Almanor Cultural & Recreational Council. The Kohm Yah-mah-nee is open year round. The Bookstore and Gift Shop at the Visitors Center have a wonderful selection of books, educational materials, gifts and park memorabilia as well as local art and a snack bar! Plan your day trip now or make it an overnight camping adventure! An early June opening is anticipated for the main park road.
