Details:
A business in Madison County is looking for a Medical Coder to join their team! Medical Coders retrieve patient records for doctors and nurses who need to know prior history for future diagnosis and treatment. They also comb through files to look for preexisting conditions. As patients receive care, coders keep track of medical records to document improvement or deterioration in condition.

Qualifications:
•Must have a minimum certification as a Certified Professionals Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician Based (CCS-P).
•Must have excellent oral and written communication as well as proficient computer skills.
•Accuracy in coding and a firm grasp of time management is expected.
•Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes is a must.
•Highly skilled at multi-tasking and must have an eagerness to learn.
•Experience with NextGen and Meditech is a plus!
•Experience with dermatology, plastic surgery, and surgical coding is a plus!
