A business in Madison County is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team! The Machine Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment which blends/mixes/paints their product and is also responsible for operating bag machine and associated equipment in order to produce final product.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $14/hr


Qualifications:
•2-5 years proven experience in an industrial operations environment required. Experience in mixing/blending, plastic extrusion, colorants or additives environment is preferred
•High School Diploma or GED
•Experience operating automatic bagging machines including automatic bagger & bagging scales
•Must have basic math skills and the ability to apply these skills to weights, measures of volume, speed and distance
•Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, spatula, barrel cart, hand trucks, fork lift, bucket loader, utility knife and mixer/blender machinery and computer equipment.
•Must have problem solving skills and some mechanical aptitude
