Job Summary: A business in Madison County is looking for a Manufacturing Production Scheduler to join their team! The MPS responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Use forecasting tools to create shop floor orders to drive fabrication and customer orders.
•Track progress of shop floor orders through the facility to complete customer orders on time
•Develop and maintain schedule for decorative fireplace accessories and heater products.
•Coordinate and plan materials/production for new product introductions.
•Monitors inventory, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules.
•Identify and implement system and process improvements to drive continuous improvement
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: 70,000-90,000/year, based on experience

Qualifications:
•Technical degree or equivalent experience.
•Must have 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing production planning environment.
•Demonstrated knowledge of materials control/production planning.
•Must have knowledge of manufacturing planning systems, preferably MRP planning systems.
•Strong computer skills: Excel, Outlook and Exact Max software system
•Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing procedures required.
•Strong problem solving, teamwork, conflict resolution and time management skills.
