Details:
A client in Madison County is looking for a Loan Review Analyst to join their team! The responsibilities of the Loan Review Analyst include but are not limited to:
•Assess the overall quality loan portfolios to determine collectability
•Validate or assign appropriate risk ratings based upon credit facility reviews
•Verifies quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis
•Review past due reports to identify potential deterioration in credits
•Assessment of the adherence to internal credit policies and loan administration procedures
•Provide feedback to the VP/Loan Review and SVP/Special Assets and/or respective loan servicing officers of any issues relating to policy exceptions, loan review activities, and quality measurements
•Perform a thorough financial analysis of existing clients, co-borrowers, and guarantors
•Promptly identify loans with well-defined weaknesses so that timely action can be taken
•Identify weaknesses in loan documentation and provide appropriate corrections
•Provides assistance to loan officers, auditors and regulatory examiners
Qualifications:
•College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education
•Excellent decision making /problem solving skills
•Thorough knowledge of commercial loan documentation
•Thorough knowledge of loan regulations
•Sound working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and tax returns
•Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills
•Up to 3 years financial analysis and/or loan review experience
•Scheduling and prioritizing tasks while meeting deadlines with limited supervision
•Advanced writing and oral communication skills
•Ability to create reports of review findings
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
•Ability to identify actual or potential weaknesses in commercial credits
•Requires interpersonal skills that involve problem resolution, community relations
•Working conditions may involve a moderate amount of intense concentration or mental stress
