Details:
A client in Madison County is looking for a Bag Machine Operator to join their team! The responsibilities of the Bag Operator include but are not limited to:
•Operates machine in proper manner, maintaining high production and a quality product.
•Verify knowledge of order specifications.
•Performs set-up on machine, by setting formers, changing gears, lining up paper and making roll changes. Have the ability to recall and set bag recipes from the equipment’s computer systems.
•References work orders for paper supply, and requisitions paper from the warehouse.
•Starts and Monitors machine continually at all points.
•Instructs/leads Bag Inspector and Bundler. Assists Small Bag Inspector in detecting poor quality.
•Makes sample bags for current shift and Monitor glue level, transports glue barrels, and replenishes when necessary.
•Completes daily production and Quality reports, logbook for machine, and hourly check reports, with supervisor initialing and approving all hourly checks.
•Diagnoses problems on machines and corrects immediately, to keep smooth production flow.
•Makes all machine repairs, unless major work is needed. Performs daily maintenance on machine including: oiling machine, cleaning drum area of machine, and scraping down.
•Assists with repairs to get equipment up and running in the shortest amount of time.

Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Must have at least 1 year of printing industry experience
•Background in Flexo Printing preferred
•Specific Totani machine operating experience desired
