Position Overview:
Commercial Metals Company is currently seeking an Electrician to support the Maintenance Department. Employee will be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment and systems to provide dependable equipment to plant operations in an accurate and efficient manner while observing CMC Safety Policies and Procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance throughout the mill
• Perform equipment repairs
• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Perform equipment inspections
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications:
Experience and Skill Requirements:
• One year field experience in either operations and or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of motor controls, conduit bending and print reading
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Experience with the repair of printed circuit boards, instrumentation and radio controls
• Experience with PLC usage and maintenance along with the repair of variable speed drives.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
