Details:
A client in Madison County is looking for a Warehouse Production Specialist to temporarily join their team. The WRS picks and packs orders, receives inventory, updates computer systems, and monitors inventory and supply levels. These duties also include packing, labeling and / or palletizing of products for both domestic and foreign shipments of both non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with industry, local, state, federal and international standards.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Temporary
Pay: Up to $14/hr, BOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4pm (minimum of 8 week duration)


Qualifications:
•High School or GED equivalent with proficiency in basic math skills
•3-5 years’ experience in a shipping and receiving environment
•Follow procedures for the safe handling and storage of products (SDS are provided)
•Operate fork trucks and pallet jacks (electric and manual) with up to 5,000 lb. capacities
•Frequently lift, carry and stack cartons and or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
•Pass company provided test (both written and operating) covering safe fork truck operations
•Pass company provided test (bi annually) covering the proper labeling/marking/shipping of hazardous materials
