Details:
A client in Madison County is looking for a HVAC Technician to join their team. The HVAC Technician performs annual maintenance checks, installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Must communicate effectively with customers and vendors. Must complete the necessary paperwork for each job and accept payments at the completion of each job. Must clean up after each job and keep work vehicle organized, clean and properly stocked.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: Up to $28/hr, BOE
Client Benefits: medical (health, dental and vision) insurance, simple IRA with company match, paid holidays, PTO time and SPIFFs.


Qualifications:
•HVAC certification and/or Associates Degree in HVAC
•5+ years of experience in the field ONLY (education does not count towards experience)
•Must be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed which includes nights, weekends and overtime. (Average at least 40 hours per week and overtime as required)
•Strong customer service skills
•Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds)
•Good work ethic
•Strong mechanical background
•Required language: English
•Required license or certification: NATE
