Job Summary: A local client is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their growing team. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for greeting clients, answering the phone and directing inquiries, and transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, and transmitting text, data, and graphics in coordination with case preparation. The Legal Secretary may read, research, verify, and draft correspondence, analyze information, and schedule telecommunications, attorney meetings, and other special functions.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: Up to $15, BOE


Qualifications:
Must have 2+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Successful candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to answer multiple phone lines, good customer service skills, and flexibility. Expected to have excellent data entry and typing scores, as well as ability to write error-free correspondence. Must have ability to E-file and check attorney’s docket with the county courthouse.
