Our client in Madison County is looking for a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. The responsibilities of the Senior Risk Coordinator & Compliance Manager include but are not limited to:
•Establishes, maintains and oversees risk management Implement processes and procedures to ensure that we are fully prepared to deal with potential threats
•Analyze data and identify trends; conduct detailed risk assessments involving statistical analysis, market analysis, benchmark protocols, business data and information systems
•Evaluates the effects of any potential or proposed risk
•Works closely with Administration, Safety, HR, Worker Compensation, Accounting, & leadership
•Primary subject matter expert for Risk Management and Compliance
•Key collaborations in this role will be around health and safety policies, disaster recovery measures, business continuity plans, audits, contract review, worker compensation and global settlements with employees
•Reviews insurance contracts and claims ensuring language is clear and consistent
•Oversees investigation of incidents that led to claims, looking for ways to improve processes and procedures, reduce or eliminate the potential for future repeat incidents, and safeguard the health and welfare of our employees, visitors and business colleagues
•Consults with Safety Reps to provide OSHA and legal guidance
•Maintains contact with employees, insurance reps, attorneys, and medical personnel as needed
•Determines policy coverages and apply best claims practices to minimize risk
•Advise leadership on workers’ compensation benefits, responsibilities, and requirements
•Review, update and improve claims management system
•Proactively participate in meetings with leadership reporting on claims experience, litigation, and identifiable exposures that may have an adverse impact on the corporate goals
•Maintain a thorough knowledge of company risk management policy/procedures

Qualifications:
•BS degree required; JD preferred
•Minimum of 5 years’ risk management experience
•Experience with Union work comp claims preferred; construction or electrical experience helpful
•Multistate worker’s compensation experience
•Expert knowledge of insurance and compliance
•Discretion, professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail
•Strong problem-solving skills
