Our client in Madison County is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their team. The Credit Analyst duties include but are not limited to:
•Analyze the financial condition of existing and prospective clients, co-borrowers, and guarantors to ascertain their ability to support and repay extensions of credit.
•Prepare commercial loan presentations
•Recommend appropriate loan structure and terms
•Identify and report any concerning deterioration in the financial condition or performance of a client, and determine or solicit recommendations regarding how improvement of the same may be achieved.
•Prepare property Affirmation of Value reports for commercial credit presentations.
•Advise supervisor as to any issues relating to policy exceptions, underwriting, monitoring, etc on credit relationships.
•Spread financial statements to be used in the underwriting of credit requests.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Eval/Direct Term
Pay: Up to $50,000/yr, BOE


Qualifications:
•Excellent decision making and problem solving
•College degree in a related discipline such as Business, Finance or equivalent education.
•2 yrs of experience of small business lending, commercial lending, credit underwriting, analysis.
•Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and commercial loan portfolio management.
•Working knowledge of financial reporting and accounting concepts.
•Advanced written and oral communication skills.
•Moderate to advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
•A balanced outlook of both commercial credit and marketing concerns.
•Ability to identify actual or potential weaknesses in commercial credits.
•Ability to set schedules and prioritize tasks with limited supervision.
