Positions Indirectly Supervised:All other staff/volunteers providing services in the Care Center

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND POSITION ACTIVITIES:

1) Acts in the role of Director of Nursing during periods of his/her absence from the facility.

2) Provides direct/indirect supervision for all staff working in the Care Center and/or Therapy Center.

3) Completes Nursing Services administrative responsibilities as assigned.

4) Acts as an advocate for Residents and/or family members.

SPECIAL POSITION CHARACTERISTICS:

Hours

Full Time, Hours may vary according to need.

May be called upon to work weekends, evenings, or additional shifts/hours to assure compliant staffing and/or efficient operation of the Care Center.

Accepts Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation as possible.

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:
CRITERIA FOR EMPLOYMENT:

Minimum:

-Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN)

-3-5 years experience as a nurse, or CNA studying to be a nurse in a long term care environment

-Basic computer skills

Preferred:

-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN)

-5+ years experience as a Registered Nurse with progressive management responsibilities
