We’re a growing construction-related Alternative Energy contractor located on the W. Side of CO Springs. We’re in need of the “right fit” Team Member, working as a Lead Installer/Supervisor in the Installations of Power Generation Systems in/around the Pikes Peak Region. Qualifications:
Some of the Daily Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:
o Self-Motivation with Positive “Pro-Active” Attitude & Ability to often Work Independent or with another Apprentice-type individual.
o Taking direction directly from Owner & then Supervising an Apprentice or 2 on a daily / frequent basis.

o Willingness to travel upwards of 3 hrs. paid drive-time, on a daily basis, as well as remote travel and overnight stays near jobsites that are greater than 1.5 hrs. from shop. All travel in a Company Service Truck, as noted in Benefits above. Frequency of “out of town” travel varies greatly depending on contracts (3-4 X’s per month to 3-4X’s in 3-4 month time-period..)
o Ability to be Professional and Effective Communicator in/around all Clients: Residential, Commercial, Industrial. Our work environment varies greatly from Client’s High-End Homes to Remote Telecom Sites on the top of a Mountain. Ability to adapt to these changes is required. This is not a “new construction site” environment.
o This is a field leadership / working supervisor type role. This individual would be responsible for getting the project built on-site; a high Technical & Physical competence level. Owner / Management will support directly on all aspects of design, materials procurement, sub coordination, client interaction, etc.. as-needed to successfully get the project built in a high-quality and functional manner.
o This position would be Supervising & sometimes physically Assisting Apprentice w/ the following, as needed to get the Job done: Materials stocking / learning parts; trench digging w/ minor landscape work; minor concrete work; heavy lifting / rigging of generators, batteries, PV panels, racking systems, ladders, pipe, etc..; learning/hands-on of building electrical system apparatus (pipe, wire pull, conduit installs, wiring terminations), as well as all field-related tasks associated with the installation of AC & DC Power Generation Systems (Fuel-Based Generators, Solar PV Modules, Batteries, Wind Turbines, Inverter Equipment, Controllers, etc..).
o Office Maintenance, Cleaning, Organizing, Misc. Shop-related tasks, etc.. (on occasion / as-needed)
o Materials Ordering Support & some Shop Interface w/ Admin & Owner.
o Occasional Forklift Operation, if certified, and/or desire to become certified (heavy materials receiving)
o Ability to operate other small digging / rigging equipment highly desired: trenchers, mini-excavator, boom-fork, skid steer, etc..
o OSHA 10 Hr. Minimum Required. APS will support/supply this training if not already certified.

• Work Hours (approx.. 35-45 Hrs. / Wk.): Tues. to Fri. Typically 7:30am – 5:30pm, but can vary depending on work location(s). 4 - 10’s approach w/ longer weekends 😊
• Hourly Position ~ Rate Range $22 to $30 / Hr., but highly D.O.E. & Fit

Cross-Trained Individuals are a “Best Fit” for this Niche Industry. APS is willing to help individual gain training in either direction to obtain this technical competence that they may be lacking; one-way or the other..
