Details:
The Technical Director is responsible for all audio, visual, and lighting (AVL) aspects of the worship services and special church events.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate and/or supervise the operation of AVL equipment
• Recruit, train, and manage required AVL volunteer support personnel
• Attend weekly staff, monthly worship committee, and other meetings as requested
• Coordinate/consult/work with program staff, committees, and other ministries
• Provide/maintain livestream feeds
• Manage/maintain AVL equipment and software
• Distribute physical and digital recorded media (e.g. CDs, DVDs, and web uploads)
• Provide internal communications, payment authorizations, facility requests, etc.
• Maintain safety and orderliness of AVL resource and storage areas
• Plan/implement improvements/upgrades to AVL equipment/systems
• Report to the Church Administrator for supervision and guidance



Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Belief in Jesus Christ as personal savior and affirmation of the Holy Bible as God’s Word
• Training and experience in planning, operating and maintaining AVL resources in support of programs for organizations (college level media training is a plus)
• Experience using ProPresenter, Planning Center, Logic Pro, Ableton, and digital mixing consoles from various manufacturers
• Ability to train and manage AVL volunteer support
• Ability to manage time and resources within a budget
• Organizational, interpersonal, relational and communication skills


Comments:
• Full time position expected to average 35 – 40 hours per week
• Two weeks paid vacation per year
