Customer Service Representative / Account Manger Job Description
* Prepare new and renewal home and auto quote submissions, proposals and applications.
* Process endorsement requests for existing home and auto customers.
* Request and follow up with commercial endorsement requests from our various company partners, and follow for completion, including certificate issuance.
* Record all conversations with clients with details and action steps that were taken in the agency management system, ensuring proper follow up is maintained, when necessary.
* Liaison between customers and carrier claims departments during the claims in process, ensuring communication continuity.
* Provide proactive customer service to existing customers, educating, recommending and advising, when applicable.
* Exhibit a high level of discipline, organization and prioritization with minimal supervision.
* Assist in the agency retention processes.
* Manage and protect the reputation of the company.
* Maintain strong clientele relationship with customers.
* Maintain and grow a working knowledge of the industry.
* Answer phones and file.






Qualifications:
*Requirements *
* Ability to maintain organization and proactively attend to tasks.
* Must be either currently licensed or able to obtain licensing after securing employment.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Effective communication skills – both verbal and non-verbal.
* Attention to details.
* Ability to streamline workflow.
* Basic technical knowledge base and/or adaptability
* Ability to multi task.
* Solve problems efficiently.
* Team player

Comments:

* 2 to 3 years industry experience servicing property and casualty insurance
* Familiarity with an agency management system and a rater system.
* 3 years + experience with an independent insurance agency.
* Commercial property casualty new business processing including eligibility and appetite analysis, quoting, and preparing proposals.
* Commercial property casualty service requests for existing customer base.
* Independent agency experience
