JOB SUMMARY
Provide, with positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing
Personal Lines and Commercial Lines clients. Support sales goals of the agency to meet long-term and
short-term goals for growth. This may include new business, cross-sell opportunities, retention
strategies, and profit goals. Give audience to existing clients; advise them on the status and
requirements of their insurance accounts. Provide information in an accurate and timely manner to
exceed client expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Assist agent in acquiring new insurance accounts for the agency by preparing submissions,
quotes, proposals, and visits to clients with agent when requested.
• Service and manage existing insurance accounts.
• Conducts ongoing risk management reviews of client files to identify inadequate coverages
or limits. Cross-Sell when appropriate.
• Service incoming phone calls and/or transfer to appropriate person.
• Coordinates renewals/lead generation/marketing plans with Producer.
• Coordinate with agent to provide assistance in determining appropriate solutions for client’s
insurance needs.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and initiatives.
• Check and document, as needed, carrier alerts.
• Check all policies and endorsements for accuracy and orders corrections, if needed.
• Utilizes, organizes and maintains client, prospect and carrier records, account folders and
computer files in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain controls on renewal expirations and binders on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare and process all new business submissions, endorsement requests, cancellations,
and certificates in a timely manner.
• Occasionally handles new business submissions if a Producer is not available.
• Perform quarterly reviews on transportation accounts with 20+ units.
• Follow up to ensure that clients are complying with insurance carrier requests.
• Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible.
• Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience in an independent insurance agency.
• Property & Casualty Producer License required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure.
• Must maintain confidentiality in daily operations.
