Details:
The Angola Fire Department is seeking applications for a Full-time Firefighter position.

Interested individuals must:
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be at least 18 years of age and have not reached 40 years of age at the time of hire
• Be a high school graduate or possess a Hight School Equivalency or GED
• Hold current certifications in Firefighter I & II, EMR or above, NIMS100, 200, 700, & 800, Hazmat Awareness and Operations
• Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable (insurable) driving record
• Have no record of felony convictions
• Have no misdemeanor conviction of domestic violence
• If prior military. Be honorably discharged
• Be of good moral character and possess a high degree of honesty and integrity
• Possess an acceptable level of verbal and written skills to successfully execute the essential duties and functions of the job
• Possess an acceptable level of dexterity to successfully execute the essential duties and functions of the job
• Possess the ability to interact appropriately with the public, employees, team members, elected officials, and others

Wage: Starting rate is based on experience/years of service.
