Inside Service Technician and Inventory Coordinator

Larrys Lock & Safe Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hands-on professional to manage our retail counter and warehouse. This role is a hybrid of technical locksmithing, customer service, and inventory coordination. You will be responsible for providing expert service to walk-in customers while ensuring our field technicians have the parts and organization they need to succeed.

Core Responsibilities
1. Retail Counter & Technical Service
• Counter Sales: Greet walk-in customers, provide expert advice on security hardware, and process retail sales accurately.
• Key Services: Master the use of shop machinery to cut standard, high-security, and specialty keys.
• Automotive Programming: Utilize specialty diagnostic tools and software to program transponder keys, fobs, and remotes for various vehicle makes and models.
• Bench Work: Perform lock repairs, re-key cylinders, and service hardware brought into the shop.
2. Inventory Coordination & Shop Support
• Inventory Management: Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips. Maintain a highly organized stockroom and retail floor.
• Project Staging: "Kit" and organize hardware for upcoming projects to ensure field technicians can depart efficiently with all necessary materials.
• Shop Maintenance: Clean and organize the shop floor, warehouse, and workbenches. Ensure all shop tools and key machines are maintained and in good working order.
Working Conditions & Professionalism
• Shop Environment: Must be comfortable working in a typical locksmith shop, which includes noise from key machines and a fast paced environment.
• Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude, even during high-stress situations.
• Uniforms & Tools: Larrys Lock & Safe Service provides all specialty tools, programmers, and machinery. Company-provided shirts/uniforms are required during all working hours.
• Confidentiality: This role requires handling sensitive data. Absolute confidentiality is a mandatory condition of employment.

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Pay: $19 to $28 based on experience,
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x base rate for all hours worked over 40 per week (including Saturday rotations).
