Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce President, Michael S. Jones was recently appointed to the quality and Productivity Commission. This body is designed to provide Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the City Council with additional private and public sector experience, information and recommendatioins related to improving productivity and work measurement within city government.
Jones, who also owns the company Success Management, LLC which is a life-coaching firm, was nominated for the post by Councilman Bernard Parks and approved by the full city council.

Michael S. Jones, C.E.O. of Success Management, LLC was recognized as the 47th Assembly District’s Small Business Person of the Year, by the Honorable Karen Bass, Speaker of the California Assembly on May 28, 2008. Michael’s public recognition came as an acknowledgement for his long standing support of the community and steadfast commitment to customer service and high business ethics.

Michael founded Success Management, LLC to help its clients reach their highest potential through personalized assessment, life coaching, and training seminars; the company is also committed to helping to empower businesses and to promote commerce through community development. In addition, Michael has provided masterful leadership as President of the Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce, where he has maintained an active and visible role in advocating positions on issues that ensure a favorable climate for businesses in the Los Angeles area.

Michael also displays a deep commitment to his community, and has lent his wise counsel and guidance to a variety of civic and community organizations, which includes his service as President of Friends of Baldwin Hills, past Director of Development for the YMCA, and a Board Member of Baldwin Hills Estates Homeowners Association.
