It's official. The Burn Ban has been lifted and Fireworks is ON! That means that on Tuesday, July 3rd at Aquatic Center Park, we will light up the sky with one of the best shows in the Panhandle beginning at dark (approximately 9:40pm). Prior to the fireworks, there will be a patriotic concert performed by church choirs from several churches in the community. The Knights of Columbus will host its annual food vendor event in Aquatic Park as well. This is always a premier event for Hereford. We are making one last appeal for funding assistance. We still need approximately $3,000 having all the funds raised to pay for the event. If you have considered donating, please send your donations to the Chamber at P.O. Box 192 or 701 Main. I know many have held back thinking there would not be a presentation due to Fire Ban. But now it is ON so if you could donate, we would be most appreciative.
